NAMSAI, Jun 9:With support of three points of demands the Mere Vichaar Andolan Committee(MVAC) supported by Justice Seeking Forum by Mishmi Youth organized a peaceful rally here at Namsai Town this morning, where thousands from Tezu,  Wakro and rest of Lohit district participated.

With banner, poster in hand to seek justice for former chief minister late Kalikho Pul, while demanding initiating re-inquiry based on the FIR lodged by the three wives of former CM Pul, immediate step down of chief minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and Tourism parliamentary secretary Passang Dorjee Sona on moral ground to ensure free and fair investigation.

They also demanded PD Sona to immediately return Rs 4 crore which he allegedly took from Pul.

Osingso Pul son of late Kalikho Pul, who has been participating in every rally lamented with teary eyes that, ‘My father, I know that he was not a coward man. In fact he was very brave and was always ready for any kind of situations but politics has ruined our family and took our beloved father from us and a great leader.’

"How far are we going to tolerate corruption and injustices in our peace loving state and so I request each and every one to stand against any corruption and I am not asking just for the sake of my father but for Arunachal as a whole," he added. 

Addressing, in rally MVAC convener Kaling Tasing, demanding justice of late Pul he said, police has not registered the FIR of late Pul’s wifes and not investigated the alleged suicide notes.

Further, he urged the all youth to come forward and voice against corruption of State. The MVAC will organize similar rallies in all district headquarters of the State.

Spokesperson MVAC Tarh Atung, in his address urged the central BJP government and MoS Kiren Rijiju to take serious note of the issue.
