PASIGHAT, Jun 10: Nakek Moyong a senior public leader from Mirem village under Bilat Circle who served his village and areas as GPM, ASM and ZPM passed away on Friday at Dibrugarh, Assam after a sudden ailment.

Late Moyong was a prominent leader and was a well known orator in the district.  Lt. Moyong was also a member of the (Adi-Galo) Peace Committee, appointed by the DC, East Siang regarding the problems arising because of the new creation of Lower Siang District. His last rites were performed today at his native village, Mirem. He is survived by his wife, four daughters and three sons. 

Er. Tatung Jamoh, MLA 37^th Pasighat West cum Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture & Fisheries has also mourned the untimely demise of Moyong.
