ZIRO, May, 25:Parliamentary Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Daily Development, Tamar Murtem on Thursday visited Ziro and inspected the District Pig breeding farm at Siro, which is being taken up under NEC scheme for strengthening and expansion of the farm.
He expressed satisfaction on the progress of the project and instructed the executing agency to complete the work on time for timely release of next instalment.
“The Project, if completed would cater to the high demand of piglets and pork in the district and also serve for demonstration purpose of livestock farming besides earning revenue for the state government,” opined Murtem.
He was accompanied by Lower Subansiri deputy Commissioner, Kemo Lollen , DVO, Hage Taley, EE,PHD, Kago Habung and others.
