ITANAGAR, Jun 3:

 

The All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union
(AAPSU) jointly with the Siang District Students’ Union and East Siang District Students’ Union visited the fire victims of Kerang village. The AAPSU team was led by Thomas Jerang, Asstt. Gen. Secy. along Changlang Rebe, Arun Tamok, Geding Taki, Daniel Eko, Jimbom
Riram, West Siang DSU General Secy. Jumrik Bagra met the fire victims.
In the meeting Thomas Jerang distributed the relief materials to the villagers and appealed them to take precautions to avoid such fire mishaps in future.

In a separate visit, a team of Adi Baane Kebang Youth Wing led by Kerang Relief Committee Chairman Kokom Jamoh (President, ABKYW Siang Unit) reached out to the village on Tuesday last and distributed household items to all the 26 affected families.

ABKYW has expressed thankfulness to all the well-wishers, public, government officials and with special mention to Pasighat Market Committee for having whole heartedly contributed towards the fire victims. 

 

“Without the donation, the mission would not have been possible, and we are very much thankful to everyone whoever donated for the fire victims”, added Kokom Jamoh. ABK Youth Wing Siang Unit General Secretary, Kadum Yosung,  Art & Culture Secy. Chilash Panggam and others was among the relief committee team. (Correspondent)
