ITANAGAR, Aug 23: Chairman, Anna Samarthak State unit, Serpi Flago who claimed to have obtained proper permission to run the anti-corruption campaign here in the state has asked the Arunachal Anti-corruption Sena- Anna Samarthak to remove the tagline "Anna Samarthak" from their organization name and cautioned that failing to do so will invite legal consequences.
Asserting that the frontal wing is worried and concerned about Anna's name being misused without his consent, Flago interacting with newspersons on Thursdayalleged that it has come to their notice that some people under the banner of Arunachal Anti-corruption Sena- Anna Samarthak while allegedly using the “Anna Samarthak” tagline are misguiding the public by claiming Anna Hazare has appointed them.
Stating that uttering a few lines about him and by identifying themselves as his followers do not give the right to anybody to tag along Anna’s name, Flago claimed that the organization is illegally using the Anna tagline without obtaining any permission from concerned organization.
Showing various documents which give proof of their affiliation with (Anna Samarthak Rakegan Sidhi), Flago informed that it earlier also served several notices to AACS-AS to remove the tagline and filed an FIR also when no response came from the organization.
