YUPIA, Jun 3:

 

A joint workshop regarding implementation of various CM’s flagship programmes namely Deen 
Dayal Upadhyaya Swalamban Yojana (DDUSY), Chief Minister’s Krishi Rinn Yojana (CMKRY) and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Bunkar Yojana (DDUBY) at DC’s conference hall, Yupia under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan on Friday.


At the very outset, DC briefed the house about the aims and objective of the workshop and 
said that the main objective of holding such workshop is to inform the officers of line department 
and administrative officers about the three ambitious schemes of the government under Stand Up India which is for the benefit of unemployed youths, farmers and weavers.

He said that all schemes are district driven 
schemes and all officers must take up it as challenge to make the implementation of schemes successful 
in ICC and Papum Pare district. He further called upon the officers to ensure to encourage more and 
more unemployed youths, farmers and weavers and to conduct workshop at respective sub-divisions and 
circles by June 15 next to sensitize and inform the people to take benefit of the schemes.


He further informed that under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swalamban Yojana which aims at encouraging 
unemployed youths towards entrepreneurship, 515 targets have been given for both Itanagar Capital 
Complex and Papum Pare District. In these schemes applicants have to prepare DPR of the project he/she 
wished to take up and have to present it before the district level screening committee and committee 
will select among the best DPR and will recommend it to the government for final procedure and selection of DPR must be made only if it fulfills required criteria, he added. The schemes mainly focus on Agri-Horti 
and allied activities, eco- tourism, textile and handicrafts manufacturing and loan benefits range from Rs.10 lakhs to Rs.1 crore. He also informed that the application format has been already uploaded in 
Itanagar Capital Complex district administration website: www.itanagar.nic.in/schemes and any 
interested person can download from it.


In the case of Chief Minister’s Krishi Rinn Yojana and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Bunkar Yojana 
which is for benefit of farmers and weavers, DC said that applicants can submit their applications to 
concerned administrative officers and advised the officers that they should recommend the 
applications only after proper verification of background of the applicants.

 
In charge Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Mabi Taipodia also requested all the officers of line departments and administrative officers to make best use of knowledge gain through the workshop to implement all the schemes successfully in the district. ADC Sagalee Jalash Pertin also said that workshop must be conducted at circle level to sensitize the people about the benefits of the schemes and said that schemes will be only successful if we put our sincere effort with confidence and right knowledge. 

 


Representatives from NABARD, gave power point presentation on DDUSY, CMKRY and DDUBY. Linyom Nyodu, Community Organizer, IMC gave presentation on procedure for preparing model DPR and CMEO Hage Lampung gave presentation on circle-wise targets allocation for all schemes for both ICC and Papum Pare District.
All the administrative officers and officers of line departments of Itanagar Capital Complex and Papum 
Pare District were present on the occasion.
