KHONSA, Sep 3: One cadre of NSCN(K), Wangliam Lowang of Noglo village under Lazu circle surrendered today before the Tirap Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and Commandant 16 Assam Rifles at the office of the DC, Khonsa. He was an active cadre of NSCN (K) since 2016.
He has not disclosed anything about his past activities for his safety. The formal surrender function was attended by Wanglet Lowang, Chief of Noglo and elder brother of Wangliam Lowang. However, no arms were recovered from the cadre.
