ITANAGAR, Aug 28:  National People’s Party (NPP) has an alliance with NDA government at the Centre and so we have nothing to do with any of the state political parties or its alliance in the state, said spokesperson, NPP, state unit  Mutchu Mithi while addressing presspersons here today.
Responding to a query, Mithi further added that NPP will support the Staff Selection Board (SSB) Bill, District Reorganization Bill and Stamp Duty Bill introduced in the ongoing assembly session. SSB is one of the most important bills to curb nepotism and or any kind of influence in the recruitment process, he said and added that it should have come earlier.
While claiming NPP as the fastest growing party in the state, President NPP(State Unit) Gicho Kabak clarified that though NPP  is in alliance with NDA but in Arunachal, it will field its candidates in all the 60 Assembly constituencies and there will be no seat sharing with any of the political parties.
Informing that there will be no pre-poll alliance in the state, Kabak said, “there are many candidates who are willing to contest the election from NPP ticket and amongst them, there are retired technocrats and bureaucrats as well as public leaders.”
