ITANAGAR, Jun 14:Responding to the demands of National Health Mission contractual employees who are on pen down strike for the regularization of their services, Minister Health & FW, Jomde Kena has directed the Commissioner (Health & FW) and Mission Director (NHM) to look into the matter immediately. He has directed the duo to sit with the employees association and have direct talks with them on the matter.

Minister Health &FW also had a telephonic talk with the President of the Association and requested them to call off the strike for the betterment of the health department especially and state as a whole. The President of the association has agreed to call off the strike after the assurance given by the Minister.

Kena has convinced the association and requested them to join their duties immediately as the NHM programme is being hampered and directly or indirectly affecting the health system of the state.
