TEZU, Aug 19: Dreaming high, Ontey Khamblai carved a niche by participating in the 2018 Republic Day parade and Prime Minister’s Rally 2018 in New Delhi. 
“He is the first NCC Cadet of the junior division who participated in the Republic Day camp after successfully completing unit level, group level, North East and national level competitions.  He was also honoured with the DG NCC Commendation certificate”, says MK Singh,  NCC officer, GHSS, TEZU. Only nine cadets from North  East are selected every year to participate in the parade in the junior division (Army – 5, Air Force – 2 and Navy – 2) and Ontey is one of them. 
Ontey is hard-working, disciplined and obedient and dreams of becoming an Army officer and serve the nation, the officer informed. 
Meanwhile, Minister Dr Mohesh Chai in a message has lauded and extended his best wishes to Ontey
