PASIGHAT, Jul 29: Initiated by the EE (PHED) Pasighat Er. M. Dupak, centrally sponsored “Swachh Survekshan Grameen-2018” (SSG-2018) was formally launched in Yapgo village today by the Pasighat MLA Kaling Moyong in presence of Mandal President Obit Tamuk, Yuva Morcha president Talung Tamuk and villagers. Moyong along with party functionaries and villagers thoroughly cleaned the surroundings of the village. While interacting with people, he also took stock of availability and maintenance of water supply, sanitation and drainage systems, etc. in the area.
Later attending a public meeting held at the village community hall, Moyong called upon the people to step out and clean their villages and surrounding areas taking pride in making cleanliness a daily habit in villages. He appealed to the media fraternity to popularize the mission so that people are sensitized and participate actively in it.

Follow traffic rules while driving: Tage Tado
NAHARLAGUN, JUL 29: Director Transport Tage Tado attending a mass meeting and awareness programme organised by Naharlagun Auto-rickshaw Welfare Association (ANAWA) here today said that traffic rules framed by the government need to be followed by all.
Addressing the function as chief guest, he said that rules, regulations and guidelines are modified from time to time for the convenience of all. Since the road in Capital Complex is under construction, users should change their mindset and attitude and behaviour while driving. Negligence would create inconvenience and would be a source of accident even fatal ones, he said and added that while driving one should not drink.
Guest of Honour, All Arunachal Pradesh Tour Operators Association (AAPTOA) president John Panye said that motto of any union/association/organisation should be the welfare of its members and at the same time the organisation should also adhere to the rules and guidelines of the law of the land for its smooth functioning.
He also called for maintaining cordial relations with administration and police and obeying traffic rules for betterment of others and smooth functioning of transport system in the capital and state as a whole.
All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPPTF) president Dobing Sonam in his address said that ‘unity is strength’ and appealed to all transport federation and transport association members to join hands together for a better Arunachal by following several traffic rules. He urged all members to verify themselves that their vehicle is roadworthy and documents are updated and follow traffic rules which are mandatory for commercial vehicle owners as well as drivers.
ACCFU (AAPPTF) president Tarh Kaha, secretary Kiogi Gichik Tagia, finance secretary Dado Londa also addressed the gathering.
