PASIGHAT, Aug 13: In a small yet befitting programme held on Saturday here, Pasighat East MLA Kaling Moyong inaugurated the  ‘Immanuel Charity Home’ in the presence of Addl. Deputy Commissioner, Pasighat, Tatdo Borang, members of Jering Matkir Society and host of other dignitaries.

While lauding the initiative of the chairman of Immanuel Charity Home, Tanyong Mize, Moyong assured all possible help to the charity home where many poor patients and other needy people will stay and get help. Moyong also announced to donate a vehicle (Bolero) which will be used for poor and needy by the Charity Home. ADC, Tatdo Borang also admired the noble and humanitarian initiative of Tanyong Mize.

When asked what inspired Mize to start such a  home, he candidly said that during his college days at Aalo, one of his friend’s father from Mechuka who was sick and ailing was not finding any place to stay in the town.
“But somehow I made them stay in my small rented house. From that moment I started realizing the importance of a charity home in the town like Pasighat on the sidelines of Arunachal Charity Home. I started planning since 2008, but finally succeeded today. With 5 rooms and available cooking materials like utensils and gas etc, any needy patient irrespective of cast, creed and religion can avail the help of Immanuel Charity Home”, added Mize.
