PASIGHAT, Sep 6: The CDPO office under Pasighat ICDS project was today inaugurated by local MLA Kaling Moyong. A large number of Anganwadi workers. DC Tamiyo Tatak, , DD ICDS, Ponung Angu Ering, DMO, Dr. M. Perme, ZPM Bosing, N.Taloh, CDPO, O. Panyang, , supervisors and public leaders also attended.
The Pasighat ICDS division has 74 Anganwadi centers.
The MLA hoped that with its own office, it will help the CDPO, T.Panyang and his team of ICDS staff in better administration and coordination in the implementation and delivery of various ICDS services for children and women. The MLA also assured all possible support and help from his side for the smooth functioning of the CDPO office.
DC, Tamiyo Tatak, also stressed on the role of CDPOs in guiding the grass root team of Anganwadi workers in delivering various services for children and women and asked them to ensure that all services reach the target beneficiaries. He particularly stressed on providing all the services for good nutrition for children, pregnant mothers.
