ITANAGAR, Jun 3:

 

Parliamentary Secretary PWD, UD cum local MLA Techi Kaso today appealed to the local people and in particular the commercial building owners to cooperate with the capital district administration and Highway authority for speedy construction of four lane road in the twin capital city.

 

He was addressing a meeting organised by affected commercial building and land owners of proposed four lane National Highway, (NH-415 Project) from Banderdewa to Chandra Nagar under the banner of CCCBOWA at Sidhartha Hall today.

During the meeting, Kaso also consoled the owners saying that the mega project would be beneficial for all and the project was taken up by the government keeping in view the further development of Itanagar and  appealed all not to interfere in the construction once started by the agency for smooth work progress.

Speaking on the occasion, DC, Capital, Prince Dhawan said that the notice was already dispatched to owners for self demolition of their structures in Itanagar, Naharlagun and Banderdewa.

He also informed that compensation will be provided to the people who will dismantle their own building themselves and stated that further information regarding that will given by the office of Estate Officer from time to time.

CCCBOWA President Nabam Nekia, General Secretary Kipa Simi, Senior citizen Tayeng Kuma, senior leaders like Tatar Kipa, Taba Hania, other Executive Members of the organisation addressed the gathering.
