ITANAGAR, Jun 21:Local MLA Techi Kaso on Wednesday visited the landslide hit areas under the capital complex and took stock of the damage to roads, buildings and livestock caused due to the incessant rains.

Kaso also took stock of the portion of road leading to Christian Revival Church near Donyi-Polo Vidya Bhawan, which has been completely washed away by mudslides triggered by torrential rain including a private building, which was also badly damaged.

Kaso assured the residents that necessary assistance will be provided to the affected dwellers and renovation of the damaged road to be carried out as soon as possible.

However, he sought the affected people to prepare a report of extent of damages caused by landslides and submit it to the department for immediate relief. He further appealed all to remain alert during heavy downpour.
