ITANAGAR, Aug 3: Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) has expressed grief at the demise of the first and former Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Bhishma Narain Singh. Singh was the state Governor from February 20 to March18, 1987.

Condoling the sudden demise of Singh, the Governor said that the people of Arunachal Pradesh will always cherish the fond memory of Singh as the first Governor of the state.  The Governor conveyed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolence on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh to the family of late Singh.
