ITANAGAR, Jun 24:  

 

In a tragic incident a 28-year old man died after falling from the third floor of the newly inaugurated Waii International Hotel here in the state capital. The deceased has been identified as one Mr. Papung Nayu a native of East Kameng district.

 

Police was alerted by the hotel management early this morning at around 7 am when they spotted the body. The hotel informed that the deceased was a guest and staying in the hotel for last seven days with three other male friends in two rooms.

 ‘The victim sustained head injuries and police is also interrogating all three friends,’ informed the officer.

Sources revealed that the rooms were booked by a person from Manipur.

 

Reason of death is yet to be ascertained as post-mortem report is awaited. However, security sources aren't ruling out

​a 

drug overdose.

 

Meanwhile, police has filed a case of unnatural death No.311/310 of IPC
