LONGDING, May 23:Longding district has got 2 Advanced Life Support Ambulances under CSR from Airport Authority of India and RECPDCL, Noida. The two ambulances have been placed at CHC Longding and PHC Kanubari. Both the ambulances were flagged off by respective MLAs. 

Deputy Commissioner Longding Himanshu Gupta informed that the high end ALS Ambulances are available only in Tomo Riba Hospital, Itanagar and Longding is the first district to have such ambulances. These ambulances will act as Mobile Medical Units and will be used for holding medical camps especially in remote villages of Longding district. First camp will be held in Longkhaw village which is having a population of more than 2000 and is close to Nagaland and Myanmar Border. 

MLA Thanwang Wangham and Gabriel Wangsu while flagging off the ambulance thanked Airport Authority of India and RECPDCL,Noida for providing the ambulances.
