ITANAGAR, Aug 24: Minister for RD, Panchayat, Health & Family Welfare Alo Libang today launched statewide free trade LPG (5 KG FTL) for the convenience of the housewives and consumers as a whole.
Addressing the launching function here today, the minister called it a good initiative of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to reach every household. 
He said since all gas agencies are not available in the rural areas and highways, the 5 KG refill gas cylinder would be available in all petrol pumps. 
IOCL AOD Chief General Manager Uttiya Bhattacharyya in his address said Indian Oil Corporation Limited is privileged to introduce the 5 Kg Free Trade LPG in the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh through the Indian Oil retail outlets. To start with, 16 retail outlets in 15 districts will store 5 Kg FTL LPG cylinders besides Petrol, Diesel and Lubricating oils. The number of retail outlets would be expanded further to cover all the Indian Oil retail outlets in Arunachal Pradesh.
