ITANAGAR, Jun 27:  Day after the Additional Director General of Border Roads Organisation (BRO) tendered an apology on the Kimin fiasco, the Nyishi Elite Society (NES) asserted that it will press for investigation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on the issue.
Speaking to the media, President NES Bengia Tolum categorically stated “for criminal conspiracy and willful crime, there can be no apology and who will certify that there is no Chinese spy inside BRO. So there must be NIA instigation in the whole Kimin fiasco."
‘I have also apprised the entire episode to the Chief Minister and briefed him that the issue is not of a particular community or area but it’s an issue of territorial integrity of Arunachal Pradesh.  We have also suggested him to convene an all-party meeting including all community based organisations and to work as a team on the issue,' he said.
While slamming the ADG-BRO for blaming Google for the mess, NES President countered that Kimin was there when Google hadn't started its business. Who is Google to decide which place comes under which boundary?  So blaming Google is completely wrong. Moreover, the people of Kimin have donated the present ITBP (RTC) to then Assam Rifles since then they are giving land revenue and other taxes to  the  Arunachal Government then how come BRO has no idea about the existence of Kimin, questioned the NES President.
Kimin has never been a point of boundary dispute with Assam, there is a clear cut boundary from Subansiri gate and the land belongs to Arunachal. Out of the blue, they wanted to create a misunderstanding to capture the land that’s why we not only condemn such tactics but people of Arunachal will fight tooth and nail to protect the territorial integrity of the state, Tolum said.
He also questioned the tweet of Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma for stating ‘Malinithan in Assam & Arunachal boundary with history of Chutiya Kingdom instead of tweeting Malinithan at  Likabali, Lower Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
'With such act, we have reasonable reason to doubt CM of Assam for instigating Kimin fiasco also. We condemn such act and urge that peaceful relations between Assam and Arunachal should be maintained.'
