Pangin, Jul 30: Jan Sunvai Sammelan in Siang district was launched on Sunday here by Pangin MLA Tapang Taloh in presence of Deputy Commissioner Rahul Singh, Superintendent of Police Kushal Pal Singh among others.
Addressing the gathering, Taloh spoke about the significance of the event where all the departments had gathered under one roof to provide various services to the people. He also spoke about the various schemes launched by the government for the benefit of the people and urged everyone to take full advantage of such programmes and schemes.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC stated that focus would be given in holding the programme in areas where people have difficulty accessing services provided by the various departments and offices. He urged all departments to coordinate and cooperate in bringing administration to the doorsteps of deprived people in true spirit of the programme.
Stalls, including a mega health check camp, were set up by all the departments for delivering services to the people.
