TEZU, Aug 28: As part of the rehabilitation of jail inmates, a special programme on revitalizing their energy through ‘Spiritual Knowledge and Meditation’ was held on the premises here this morning.
Highlighting the ordeal of one’s life and putting a ray of hope for better art of living, BK Jayanti In-charge, Brahmakumaris’ Education & Rajyoga Centre, Tezu said everyone according to their deed has to get the return fruit in the form of bane or boon.
The sisters from the organization also celebrated Raksha Bandhan with jail officials, guards, and inmates.
Radhe Ole, DSP, Jail informed altogether 29 convicted prisoners and 28 under trial prisoners (UTP) are in captivity for various crimes like murder, rape, robbery and UG cases.
