Namsai, Nov 29: Monthly NCORD meeting for the month of November was held today under the chairmanship of Namsai Deputy Commissioner and convenor Superintendent of Police and members of the District NCORD committee. The meeting was also attended by CBOs including Women Welfare Society Namsai as special invitee. 
During the meeting various issues related to drug abuse, and other substance abuse such as tobacco etc were discussed in detail. The committee unanimously decided that the CBOs will take equal measures along-with the administration, police and other government departments to fight against drugs and substance abuse. Among other points, the committee including the CBOs also agreed towards making their villages drug free in coming days. With onboarding of CBOs in the committee the District administration and Police along with other enforcement agencies stands furthermore committed in their war against drugs.
