HAWAI, Aug 18: About 40 Inner Line Permit (ILP) violators were externed from Anjaw district through the nearest interstate check gate at Dirak in Namsai district. The exercise stretching over two days witnessed rounding up of violators who had to be externed through Lohit and Namsai districts in a massive exercise headed by Town Magistrate, Circle Officer, R. Siboh and Circle Officer (Jud.) Magistrate Takam Nicholas.
The exercise was preceded by intensive volunteer awareness drive by student’s body led by AADSU, conducted at Hawai circle. Similar, surprise drive was conducted at other circles. The exercise was monitored by Deputy Commissioner Mamata Riba and Supdt. of Police Habung Hailyang.
