ZIRO, Jul 26: International Chamber for Service Industry (ICSI) after organizing career orientation and motivational talk for empowering youths of Arunachal Pradesh at various places of the state arrived at Ziro today with a similar programme.
The programme was organized at Mihin Bagang Govt. Sec. School, Hapoli in collaboration with Deputy Director of School Education, Ziro.
Addressing the students of the Ziro Valley, Dr. Gulshan Sharma, Director General, ICSI through power point presentation stressed on building up positive attitude and self-confidence besides suggesting them to find their hidden talents and skill.
While contradicting views of the authorities of Dani Kunia Govt HSS, Dr. Sharma said that lack of proper boundary shall not be the excuse for the students fleeing from class and reason for low pass percentage in CBSE exam this year. A school need conducive and pleasant atmosphere which is to be created by the teachers and management to attract students, he opined.
Education Minister Honchun Ngandam advised students to give due importance on their own tradition, culture and language, else one’s own identity will be nowhere. He also encouraged students for availing the scheme like Chief Minister Vidhya Scheme, a government’s flagship programme. He asked school authority to extend necessary help to students in getting such benefits.
He further informed the gathering that the text books meant for students already distributed will reach soon in respective districts.
Nending Chatung, ADC, Ziro while terming teacher, student and parents as the three pillars, asked them to cooperate with each other in building congenial atmosphere in school without which the institution will only for namesake.
Earlier, highlighting the objective of the programme, he suggested students and teachers to get maximum benefits from the career orientation and motivational talk organized by the ICSI.
Among others, Er Khoda Gyati, Rtd. Executive Engineer, Nada Duri, BEO (A), LikhaVidha, DPC (RMSA), Tage Gumbo, vice principal, Dani Kunia Govt. Hr. Sec. School Ziro and TakuTanio, senior teacher, Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Hija also spoke on the function.
