NIRJULI, Jun 5 : Karsingsa ASM Kipa Taniang today appealed the PWD and Highway department to take precautionary measures at the landslide point near block point on NH-415 between Nirjuli-Karsingsa.

Taniang said that the portion of road near Tourist House at Block Point have been washed away due to torrential rain on the night of June 3, the damaged portion is in such a place that passerby narrowly escape due to U turning and is a endangering safety of commuters and drivers.

He further appealed the department to start construction of a structure which may be helpful for safety and security of passerby or if possible a permanent land protection.
