NEW DELHI, Jun 3:

 

Everester from Arunachal Pradesh, Anshu Jamsenpa, who created a history by scaling Mt Everest twice within five days, called on Governor PB Acharya at New Delhi on Saturday.

State’s First Lady Kavita Acharya, Jamsenpa’s husband Tsering Wange, who is the President of All Arunachal Pradesh Mountaineering and Adventure Sports Association and PR Assistant DK Chauhan were also present in the meeting.

The Governor and State’s First Lady congratulated her in person and wished her luck for future mountaineering challenges. They said that she has not only made people of Arunachal Pradesh proud, but also all the people of North East and India as a whole with her incredible mountaineering achievement.

During the interaction, they were amazed by her determination and willpower. They expressed hope that she will create more mountaineering records and bring fame and glory for the State, region and the country.
