KHONSA, Aug 27: In its continuous efforts to reach out to the needy and medically deprived sections of far-flung border villages of North East along the Indo – Myanmar border, Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of DAO Division organized a free medical camp at village Kheti under Khonsa Circle on Sunday.
A medical team led by Unit Chief Medical Officer, Regimental Medical Officer, and a team of paramedical staff of the Khonsa Battalion Assam Rifles contributed towards the successful execution of the camp. People residing in nearby villages were also informed in advance about the conduct of the event. The residents of the villages displayed their enthusiasm by attending the medical camp in large numbers.
