HAWAI, Jul 27:  A meeting to expedite implementation of crucial policy matters on Food and Civil Supply was held at DC’s Conference hall, Hawai today. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, Anjaw, Mamata Riba, and was attended by Fair Price Shop License holders of the district.

The FPS Licensees were directed to mandatorily register for online payment through the Public Finance Management System (PFMS). It was informed that no FPS would receive the FPS dealer’s margin through means other than PFMS.

Concern was also expressed about the low Aadhaar seeding of AAY and PHH beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act in the district. The FPS Licensees were exhorted to collect Aadhaar records of all beneficiaries and submit the same for expedited seeding.

Among other important issues, the licensees were directed to maintain proper stock records and furthermore to submit vigilance clearance from the constituted FPS level committee mandatorily by the 5th of every month.
