DEOMALI, Aug 22: Hone Foundation  a Government Registered Society in collaboration with the  local administration and other local NGOs including Mahila group of Deomali,  conducted  Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan to keep Deomali town clean and environment-friendly on Wednesday.
 The first phase started with the cleaning of the general ground.  Various sections of society took part in the drive including students,  businessmen and the public to government employees. 
Around thirty tonnes of garbage and other waste materials were collected from the ground and nearby drains.
While leading the cleanliness driver as a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Komna Moidam, Chairperson, Hope Foundation appealed to the public not to litter waste materials and requested the local administration to put a ban on the use of plastics and bottles in and around the ground.
