ITANAGAR, Aug 17:The All Lower Subansiri Trans-Arunachal Highway Land Affected Peoples Forum (ALSTAHLAPF) has demanded concern authority to expedite the process of land acquisition and immediate disbursement of compensation to affected land owners of Potin to Bopi TAH project.

The forum has also urged Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri to pay the compensation as per the assessment made in the year 2014-15 under Right of Way (RoW) on the spot by district administration.

In a meeting which was held on August 13 last, the committee has unanimously decided to hold a phase wise band call from August 24 next in affected areas if authority fails to start construction works and disburse the compensation money before August 22 next.

Furthermore house also requested DC to carry out all process in person without depending on third party committee so that process may be expedited and resolved soon.
