Namsai, Sep 21: A District Level Monitoring Committee-cum-District Development Report (DLMC-cum-DDR) review meeting was held here today to review the progress and implementation of various developmental programmes and schemes in the district.
The meeting was attended by YVVJ Rajasekhar, Mentor Secretary, Namsai District,in  presence of Lobsang Tsering, Deputy Commissioner, Namsai, along with the Additional Deputy Commissioner,  and Heads of Offices
The Deputy Commissioner, Namsai, also emphasised the importance of regular monitoring, inter-departmental coordination and timely execution of ongoing development projects. He directed the concerned departments to closely monitor both the physical and financial progress of schemes and ensure their completion within the stipulated timelines.
During the meeting, the concerned departments made detailed PowerPoint presentations on various developmental schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) and Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF). The presentations highlighted the progress achieved, targets, implementation status and issues encountered during execution.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the importance of proper documentation, field-level monitoring and timely submission of progress reports. He further directed the departments to identify bottlenecks and take necessary corrective measures at the earliest to ensure effective implementation of schemes and delivery of benefits to the intended beneficiaries.
The meeting concluded with necessary directions for follow-up action and continued monitoring of developmental activities to ensure effective implementation of government programmes in the district.
