ITANAGAR, Sep 3: In a representation addressed to Minister for Education, the All Sagalee Employees Forum (ASEF) has urged him to revoke the termination order issued against Nabam Doria, serving as a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), SSA, at Government Residential School, Sango, in Leporiang.
Doria’s termination order came following his controversial speech during the three-day sit-in protest conducted by All Arunachal Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (AASSATA) from August 8-10 where he allegedly claimed that if the government failed to address the AASSATA’s demands then they will also compromise on their assigned duties.
Taking serious note, the SSA and Integrated Scheme for School Education (ISSE) authority has served a show cause notice seeking an explanation from Doria as to why his contractual service should not be terminated.
Further Informing that the Doria had already submitted his reply to the show cause notice with an apology in written form through media, it appealed the Education Minister to revoke the termination order on the sympathetic ground.
