ITANAGAR, Jun 6:The Election Commission is going to launch a month-long special drive from July 1 to  31 next to enroll eligible young electors, with special focus on the 18-21 years age group, informed Chief Electoral  Officer, Itanagar in an official release today.

Special campaigns will be held on July 8 and 23 across the state. On these days, camps will be held in each polling station where a booth-level officer (BLO) will assist applicants.

The CEO further appealed all political parties to appoint BLAs for all polling stations to assist BLOs and requested eligible citizens of India particularly the target age group to contact their concerned BLO, AERO, ERO to enroll their names during the special drives.
