AALO, Jun 6:The District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) in its governing body meeting reviewed block wise Central Sponsored Schemes in the district today.

Chairing the discussion, Deputy Commissioner West Siang -cum-Chief Executive Officer DRDA, Gamli Padu, asked all the Block Development Officers to complete their uploading works and update every work as per central guidelines and norms so that delay in two-three blocks do not hamper other performing blocks of the district. ‘The inordinate delay will hamper budgetary grant from the central government meant for the poverty alleviation programmes in the district,’ he said.

Zilla Parishad Chairperson West Siang, Yaman Bagra also exhorted all functionaries to work in a coordinated manner for overall development of poor section of society.

Project Director DRDA, JT Obi placed the physical and financial achievement on the progress of CSS programmes such as MGNREGA, IWMP, PMAY submitted by respective BDOs. The BDOs, ZPMs and Anchal Chairpersons also took part in the deliberation to point out some of the problems at different levels.
