ITANAGAR, Aug 31: Government College, Doimukh, organized its first ever ‘counseling cum induction’ programme 2018, for the BA first semester students of the college today. The programme was graced by Deputy Commissioner, Yupia, Dr. Joram Beda as chief guest, who also released the annual college magazine ‘Odyssey.’
The Principal Dr. MQ Khan motivated the students to be sincere in their approach towards their academics, career-oriented, and strive to bring laurels for the institution. He apprised the Deputy Commissioner on the activities in the college and also on how the college is still functioning with insufficient infrastructure in the newly shifted campus.
Addressing the students, the DC emphasized the importance of healthy education in an individual’s life. While stressing upon the ‘should be’ attitude of the students and adopting hard work, perseverance and persistence as a ritual, he also advised the students on practicing the art of disciplining the body and mind.
