TAWANG, Jun 13: The District Legal Services Authority, Tawang on June 11 last organised a awareness camp at Mahabodi Centre Tawang for the elderly inmates and the children studying in the centre, which was attended among others by DC Sang Phuntsok and SP MK Meena. The participants were apprised of various legal provisions namely the Legal Services Authorities Act and the services rendered by it; Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act; AP Victim Compensation Scheme 2011,Old Age Pension and the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act 2007 and the maintenance  under section 125 of the CrPC,1973.
