HAYULIANG, May 26: A day long disaster awareness programme with special focus on management through Gender Budgeting component was organized at Tafraliang (Hayuliang Circle) on Friday as a part of District Disaster Awareness Campaign.

Villagers of Tafraliang, Hoiliang, Chunga along with residents of nearby villages actively took part in the programme and benefited from the PowerPoint presentations on preparedness of disasters being elaborated by Resource persons from DRC Khupa, MK Giri , SK Singh and  Lipu Eshi.

The speakers on the day exhorted the villagers to remain alert especially during the Monsoon Season.
