ITANAGAR, Aug 24: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Assam Oil Division (AOD), Chief General Manager Uttiya Bhattacharyya today launched the digital mode of payment to buy fuel from petrol pumps.
This is in synergy with the Govt of India declaration of Itanagar as a smart city.
As per the scheme, all customers who use digital modes of payment will be rewarded with gifts in addition to the 0.75% cash back which is given in line with a government directive.
Additionally, in cooperation with the banking partners, customer attendants of all city retail outlets are being trained in the operation of multiple modes of digital payment so that they may assist the customers during digital transactions.
Several retail outlet dealers of the capital complex were present on the occasion.
