CHANGLANG, Aug 28: As many as 30 people including farmers and SHG members attended a digital financial literacy and awareness programme organized by the Changlang branch of the Arunachal Pradesh State Co-operative Apex Bank Ltd. (APSCAB Ltd.) at Longlung village on Tuesday. The camp was supported by NABARD Regional Office, Itanagar.
APSCAB Ltd. branch manager Jayanta Dutta explained the different types of accounts that can be maintained in a bank. He also informed the gathering about the schemes that bank account holders can avail of, and highlighted social security schemes such as PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY.
NABARD district development manager Kamal Roy informed about financial inclusion and financial planning.
