AALO, Aug 28: An elaborate meeting on Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls, handling of EVM and VVPAT was held with political parties, EROs, AEROs, and election-related officials of West Siang and Siang districts under the chairmanship of West Siang District Election Officer, Sode Potom here today.

The DEO said that election is always a sensitive duty and exhorted all officers and officials involved in all election-relatedworks to update themselves with latest guidelines and directives of the Commission from time to time. He disclosed that all administrative officers of Aalo are completely transferred and waiting for the arrival of relievers as the office of district administration cannot be left vacant.

He urged the election officials to give all necessary support and cooperation to all incoming officers who may be new to this place. 
The Circle Officer, Election, Lijum Ete disclosed that most of the election works have been completed on time in a transparent and participatory way. The ERO net has to depend on NIC net to obtain online and offline forms through data operators. He said that error-free Electoral Rolls can be prepared only with the participation of political parties.
