PASIGHAT, May 19: Chairing a coordination meeting to review the Implementation of various flagship programmes in East Siang here today, DC East Siang Tamiyo Tatak, has reiterated  on  ensuring 100% Adhaar seeding for  facilitating   the delivery of  benefits of various schemes under the social sector to the targeted beneficiaries and also asked the District Statistical Officer (DSO)  to expedite Adhaar enrollment  by pressing in additional enrollment agencies .

He also asked to attain the goal of Swacch Bharat Mission(SBM), and achieve the target to make the district 100% Open Defecation Free(ODF) at the earliest, while taking stock of the progress made by stakeholder departments like PHE  in terms of coverage and construction of sanitary toilets under  Individual Household Latrines(IHHL) scheme.

‘Formulate a time-bound road map to attain the goal of 100% ODF status,’ he added.

He asked for proactive efforts towards the achieving the developmental goals. He also emphasized on geo-tagging of completed projects.
Terming that infrastructure projects, particularly vital projects  areas sets of the district and state in general ,Tatak said that  proper feasibility study in every aspect including site selection  in close coordination with stakeholders and other agencies should be undertaken, before implementation. Further, he asked to ensure quality of work, while taking stock of the progress of various infrastructural projects taken up in the district by the various executing agencies.
 On the Agri-allied sector and the various flagship programmes under implementation, the Deputy Commissioner, asked for follow up on the performance of the beneficiaries and the improvement in the economic and productivity level.

The meeting also discussed for early operational of  Pasighat  Civil Terminal, which Tatak said will the first civil terminal in the state.
