ITANAGAR, Aug 20: Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC), Itanagar, concluded a self-supported three months’ Training in Hospitality here today.  Speaking as Chief Guest at the function, Subu Tabin, Director, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, while congratulating DBYC for the constant efforts it has been making in the field of skill development and job placement, called upon the trainees to show their gratitude to DBYC through hard work and exemplary behavior and thus make Arunachal proud. He also gave practical tips on how to cope up with life outside Arunachal such as adjusting to new food habits and changed the environment.  He exhorted the students to look after their own personal safety and said, “the best safety measure is self-safety. “  
In his message to the trainees, Dr V. N. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Arunodaya University, called upon the trainees to learn to walk the right path at all times, as the success of every journey depends not only on the manner of the journey but also on the spirit in which the journey is taken.  
 
The 27  students who are selected for placement will start working in Front Office Management, House Keeping and Food and Beverage service in four star to five star category resorts and will initially earn a minimum of Rs. 7000 after food and accommodation on the campus for the first six months and then as regular employees with all benefits and substantial increment in pay.
