Itanagar, Aug 20: On the occasion of Sadbhavna Diwas, a pledge was administered by the Chief Secretary Satya Gopal to the officers and employees of the Civil Secretariat here today.
The pledge was administered to promote harmony among people of all religions, language and region and to promote goodwill towards everyone and to eschew violence.
Meanwhile, in aid of Kerala floods, the Chief Secretary announced his one month’s salary as a donation.
Some of the officers have also decided voluntarily to donate some amount as a relief to flood-hit Kerala.
