Earlier, the  DMO ICC Dr Mandip Perme while briefing about the status of Covid-19 in ICC informed that there has been increase in  number of Covid cases and subsequent increase in positivity rate after relaxation of  complete lockdown post June 7 last.
He informed that the areas of ICC have positive cases but the Wards with maximum cases are 1, 6, 9, 13, 14, 15 and 19. "The probable reason for increase in number of cases in ICC is mostly due to non practicing of Covid Appropriate  Behaviour by individuals," he said adding that Micro Containment Orders are not followed by residents and others.
"To stop the chain of transmission, we all need to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour along with vaccination," the DMO added.
