Itanagar, Dec 2: The Confederation of Service Associations of Arunachal Pradesh (CoSAAP), the apex employees’ organization of the state led by its President Likha Tech, made a courtesy call on Chief Secretary to Arunachal Pradesh, Manish Kumar Gupta, on November 27 last at his office chamber. 
While welcoming the incumbent Chief Secretary, CoSAAP has assured to be committed towards its roles and responsibilities in all-round development of the state. The CoSAAP has also apprised the grievances of the state government employees, pending to be addressed namely the Scrapping of National Pension System and restoration of Old Pension System for state government employees; Timely conduct of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meetings, thereby reverting of officers/officials appointed on Out of Turn Promotion/Function/Officiating and the mechanism for smooth conduct of DPC meetings.
The CoSAAP also called for immediate intervention of Chief Secretary in recruitment of Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services (APCS) through Lateral Entry and pursual to expedite the recruitment process as the earliest and Immediate settlement of Pay anomalies pending with the High-Level Standing Committee (HLSC).   
After patience hearing, the Chief Secretary has assured to pursue the aforementioned grievances of state government employees with the state government.
