BOMDILA, Aug 1:Divisional Commissioner (West) and Commissioner WCD Gamli Padu, enroute to Tawang to conduct inquiry, convened a meeting at Bomdila with Deputy Commissioner, DD (ICDS) and all Administrative Officers and CDPOs today late evening to monitor the performance of the District in various schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PMMVY, modified SAG, NSAP etc.
Commissioner briefly outlined the details of POSHAN Abhiyan aimed to reduce stunting in children. He further stressed upon Aadhaar enrolment and seeding of all beneficiaries, payment through DBT mode and also urged all the CDPOs to co-ordinate with Administrative Officers personally verify the Anganwadi Centres functionally, liaise with PHED department to ensure supply and functional toilet in AWC.
Commissioner also seriously viewed the pendency of JJB and CWC cases in district. In order to pace Aadhaar generation in 0-6 years, Deputy Commissioner asked ICDS department to submit list of beneficiary AWC wise and those left out to be given focus at “Sarkar Apke Dwar” venues.
