TEZU, Sep 5: Rostrum at the Indira Gandhi Govt College’s playground, one of the long felt infrastructures, was inaugurated including a RCC Classroom today by the Minister for Agriculture, Dr Mohesh Chai in the presence of Kama Leki DC, DW Thungon, SP, Lohit, heads of departments, faculty members and PWD engineers.
Buoyed by the spirit of maintaining upgradation of infrastructure and giving top priority to the education sector, Dr. Chai in his Teacher’s Day message said teacher’s top priority should be imparting selfless service, nurture and groom the students for a bright prospect.
Citing the great service left behind by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, President, scholar, philosopher, and teacher, Dr Chai appealed to the teachers to follow in his footsteps to make the IGG college best.
On his part, the Minister vowed to meet the requirements of the college. The Minister also extended solemn gratitude to Dr Rajendra Babu, Assistant Professor & Head of the Dept of Commerce, for gifting a classroom built at a cost of Rs 11 Lakhs as a token of love and return service to Arunachal.
