PASIGHAT/MEBO, Jun 15:Popularly known as “Aying Nane”, centurion, Olung Moyong Pertin, passed away on Sunday at Mebo Village of East Siang District.

Late Pertin was the wife of Lt. Omak Pertin (Somak) of Mebo village, first person from the Adi community to join 2^nd Assam Regiment and participated in 2^nd World War.
