LEKHI, May 20:In a move to address the ever-increasing need for blood, the Arunachal Pradesh Vivekananda Yuva Shakti in collaboration with Neni Hyundai, Nigla Nissan and Renault dealers organised a day long blood donation camp on Saturday.

A total of 45 units of bloods were collected from the staffers of the three establishments including security personnel from ITBP, who voluntarily turned up in large numbers and displayed true humanitarian spirit.

Deputy Director, SBTC Dr. Nabam Budh, Tax & Excise Superintendent officer,  Teli Tada, AVYS Chairman Ramesh Jeke on the occasion motivated the donors about benefits of donating blood and expressed gratitude to participants for making the camp a success.     

The camp was held under the aegis of State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), Directorate of Health Services,  Naharlagun.
